Like me, you may be already dreaming of a Summer holiday. If you have champagne tastes (and a champagne budget!), get excited, as you will love the idea of the Veuve Clicquot pop up hotel that will be in Noosa for a very short time in November.
The opulent retreat will be set on stunning beachfront at Sunshine Beach on the edge of the sprawling Noosa National Park. The unique domed estate will be home to five-star suites, a day spa, 25 metre infinity pool with ocean views, cinema and of course, lots of bubbles.
The hotel was designed with a commitment to sustainability. It was constructed using eco-friendly hemp, (the same material used in the champagne packaging), and each guestroom is solar-powered, and features a green roof rainwater harvesting system. Even the airport transfers are via chauffeur-driven Tesla’s.
In the evening, acclaimed local chef David Moyle will prepare a sustainably-driven ‘Garden Gastronomy’ degustation, matched with coveted bottles of rare La Grande Dame Champagnes. Plus, guests will also have every whim catered for, with24-hour butler service and beautifully-appointed gifts.
As expected, the hotel’s interiors have been given a gorgeous Clicquot inspired fit-out, which includes bright yellow accents and retro-inspired touches. The yellow and white striped umbrellas and the branded surfboards are a favourite. Check out the images below...
Hotel Clicquot will welcome guests from November 4 – 13, with two-night packages per couple from $7,000 which includes meals and most activities.
Take a sip, hold it in your mouth and repeat "Veuve Clicquot" three times (in your head!) to appreciate the flavour and intensity.
8 degrees is the optimal temperature to serve your favourite sparkling, which is best poured into a chardonnay glass rather than a flute.
