It makes so much sense, it's a wonder no one thought of it sooner! Smeg, best known for its coloured, retro-looking refrigerators (and of course cooktops, dishwashers ovens and more), has now extended its range to include everyday small appliances. The '50s retro style toasters, kettles, blenders and mixers are available in pastel shades as well as red and black, and are finished in enamel-coated stainless steel. They are a clear extension of the style that saw Smeg's fridges rise to world-wide popularity.
Smeg says the new range is 'developed for people who want to dabble at being a chef, but not only'. The appliances are a collaboration with architects Matteo Bazzicalupo and Raffaella Mangiarotti from deepdesign and look to become a new cult range for the kitchen. Take a look...
